Counsellor Come as you are. Together, we’ll make space for who you are becoming.

Healing can begin when we feel safe enough to be seen, heard, and met as we are.

I offer warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed counselling for adults. My intention is to create a supportive space where we can explore what you are experiencing with curiosity, care, and respect. Together, we can gently uncover patterns, strengthen your connection with yourself, and identify possibilities that feel meaningful and manageable for you.

I support people navigating anxiety, grief and loss, relationship concerns, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, identity exploration, and the lingering effects of difficult or traumatic experiences. My approach draws from person-centred, existential, somatic, and parts-informed perspectives. Our work is guided by your needs, values, lived experience, and pace.

I am especially passionate about supporting members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, neurodivergent people, and those exploring the intersections of culture, identity, immigration, belonging, and family expectations. As a Punjabi immigrant, I know what it can mean to live between worlds, carrying inherited expectations while trying to hear and trust your own voice. I bring cultural humility to this work, recognizing that each person’s story, community, and relationship to healing is their own.

At The Adjusting Room, I also offer integration counselling for people who want to reflect on meaningful experiences arising through body-based care, personal healing practices, major life transitions, or moments of insight. Integration offers an opportunity to slow down, explore what surfaced, and consider how those insights might be carried into everyday life with intention and compassion.

Healing begins by reconnecting with the parts of yourself that have been quieted beneath survival, expectation, and self-doubt.

In-person sessions are available at The Adjusting Room, with online counselling also available.

Registered Clinical Counsellor

For over 30 years, in trusting, respectful and meaningful relationships, I have provided counselling to adult individuals, couples and families. My offerings include the following:

SATISFYING CORE HUMAN NEEDS: SIGNIFICANCE: your life, actions and voice matter as does your desire to make a positive impact in your world; WORTHINESS: how you recognize your true value as a human being; CONNECTEDNESS: sincere interactions/relationships in which you feel seen and heard; BELONGING: awe, wonder, safety and comfort when you feel accepted for who you authentically are rather than having to change your essence to fit in

INTERRELATING HOLISM: How you connect with and know all aspects of your interrelated self – the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and social - will express as wellness or illness. I encourage you to lean into your curiosity and willingness by accepting my invitation to explore, choose your needs and navigate your journey.

BEING WITH THE BOTH/AND: How you are with BOTH your stress, anxiety, trauma, grief, disappointments, worry, fear, AND, at the same time, how you deepen your capacity for calmness, peace, healing, hope, gratitude, trust and clarity of intentions, direction

EMBRACING DEVELOPMENTAL AGING: Aging is a natural, continuous process that reveals physical, cognitive, emotional, spiritual and social changes across the human lifespan from young adulthood, through middle to elderhood. My professional work and personal life experiences support the idea that it is possible to experience these changes with satisfaction and contentment while on this inevitable journey of aging. What kind of journey do you want aging to be — for yourself and those entrusted to your care?

LIVING YOUR PRESENCE: I am honored to walk with you as we explore possibilities, new perspectives and practical and useful options to meet the concerns, the difficulties you have in your relationships with self, others, the world. You have within you a spiritful energy, the capacity and power to create and hold space for the awakening and unfolding of your strengths, courage, resilience, imagination, and the deep, meaningful knowing of intuition. I also provide virtual, online counselling. I can be reached at 604-520-1002 for further information or to arrange an appointment.
